About Jordan
Jordan Lee Tucker was born in Duluth, Minnesota on November 10, 1990.
At the time he was born, no one really realized the huge impact he would end up having on the community. To his family, he was another young Tucker, and it was only as he grew up that we realized just how incredible he was.
As the older brother to two sisters, Amanda and Breanna, he was a fiercely protective person. He was always there to guard his sisters, whether it was with a well-timed joke or by sitting up by the front door at night so they wouldn't worry about intruders.
As he got older, he grew into a talented athlete and played soccer and basketball. In soccer, he was a formidable goalie and became well-known throughout the area around Duluth.
But sports were far from the only interest Jordan had. Perhaps most importantly, he was an avid outdoorsman. His love of hunting and fishing were first and foremost in his life.
He would often spent long mornings out on the local creeks, rivers, and lakes, fishing rod in hand. When the seasons grew colder, he would set out on other mornings with a rifle and blaze orange coat in tow. But he never used these times for violence - instead, hunting and fishing were times of peace for him.
He never once shot a doe, and many of the fish he caught were released back into the water they come from. His respect for nature ran deep, and those things he hunted or fished and brought home were always eaten.
Towards the end of his young life, he developed into a wise-cracking young man that could make anyone smile. Wherever he went, he made friends, regardless of their age. This was partly due to his incredible natural charisma - his natural humility combined with his smirking and dry sense of humor won everyone over.
